Pakistan Mission 2025: A Month of Miracles, Movements, and Milestones

1
As I write these words, my time in Pakistan for this trip has just come to an end. My bags are packed, the final village visited, and my heart is overflowing with awe and gratitude for all that God has done. This past month has been unlike anything I’ve experienced before in missions—and I’ve seen some incredible things over the years. But this time, something unique has taken place. There’s no other way to describe it: we are living the Book of Acts.

The Gospel Goes Forth: Twelve Villages Reached
This month. We took the Gospel to twelve distinct villages and groups who had never heard the name of Jesus. Never. Not once. Entire communities, both Muslim and Hindu, welcomed us with open hearts and open ears. The result? An overwhelming response to the message of salvation.

In one Hindu village previously hostile to Christianity—where only a single Christian family had ever lived—we were warned in advance: “They have their own gods. They aren’t interested.” But after hearing the message of Christ, 59 villagers, not counting the Christian family, came forward and loudly and joyfully accepted Jesus as their Savior.
In another brick kiln community near the Indian border, we were hosted by a Muslim factory owner—yes, a Muslim—who not only gave us permission to preach the Gospel on his property, but also assisted in organizing the outreach. 141 people gave their lives to Christ that day. There was truly a celebration in heaven, and it was felt on earth.

The Power of God: Miracles, Healings, and Hope These weren’t isolated incidents. This level of spiritual openness repeated itself over and over. In remote desert towns and dusty brick kiln villages, hearts were ripe and the Holy Spirit moved. Each place received us not with resistance but with hunger—an aching thirst for truth that only Jesus could quench.
.The miraculous followed us everywhere we went. Healings were not the exception; they were the norm.
At one meeting, a woman traveled a long distance the following evening just to testify. She had experienced chronic back pain for years—but at our evangelistic service the night before, she was healed spontaneously. We never prayed for her. No one even knew of her condition. Yet, in the presence of God’s people and the power of the preached Gospel, healing came. Several days later, she still reported: no pain.

Another woman with birth defect that caused a pronounced limp and much pain reported ALL the pain was gone after we laid hands on her, though the limp remained, so we prayed for her again. We trust she’ll be totally healed. We often get reports of those who, a day or two after being prayed for, the healing comes.

There were almost endless reports of those with pain, sickness, diminished use of a limb, etc., who got immediate healing. Then there are the babies who are conceived after their mothers received prayer. So far, beginning with my first visit two years ago, every single woman who has had trouble conceiving, or who had only girls and wanted a boy, for example, has received the answer to their prayers. We have already heard of one woman, prayed for early in the month, who is now pregnant.

Another unforgettable testimony began in 2024, when a Muslim brick kiln laborer heard the Gospel, saw the healings taking place, received prayer himself during which, he said, he felt the tangible love of God. He gave his life to Christ that night. Fast-forward to May 2025: this man is now one of Pastor Enoch’s national missionaries, evangelizing nearby villages. His wife and 13-year-old son do his labor at the kiln so he can focus on preaching the Word. This month, he was one of the attendees at our leadership seminar—no longer a seeker, but a soul-winner.

A Shift in Focus: From Evangelism to Equipping
Ing. In years past, the primary focus of our mission trips has been evangelism—and the results have been stunning. One open-air meeting in Sindh province last year sparked an explosion of faith that has resulted in over 2,300 Hindu families turning to Christ. That’s not individuals. That’s families.

The incredible growth of the church in Pakistan under this ministry is largely due to the National Missionaries who prepare the soil (the unreached people), plant and water the seed (which is the Gospel), and who stand with the new believers and help them grow. This amazing success would not be possible without these dedicated men and women. The work is growing fast, revealing an urgent and unavoidable need: training.
Many of the national missionaries now leading churches and Bible studies are brand-new believers. Some cannot read. Most have never had formal theological instruction. And yet, they are on fire for God, sharing the Gospel with boldness and courage. Their hunger to learn is palpable, and their dedication is deeply humbling.
That’s why this year, we shifted part of our focus toward leadership development. We conducted three major seminars, training over 150 emerging leaders across three very different regions. The first group was well-versed in Scripture and deeply rooted in the faith. The second was made up of former Hindus with no Bible knowledge and no prior ministry experience. We spent significant time walking them through the dangers of idolatry and laying a foundational understanding of the one true God. The third seminar took place in Faisalabad with some established believers who, in addition to wanting some good Bible teaching, were looking to start a church. Though there are plenty of churches in Faisalabad, none of them really have a sense of The Great Commission, and these believers are committed to that. They were looking for a building and wondering where to find a pastor. I taught them that they didn’t need either of those things to get started, that they already had everything they needed, and encouraged them to begin meeting in homes without delay. The seminar turned into a house church plant!

The Muslim owner of the seminar hall where that last seminar took place sat in on both sessions. At the end of the day, visibly moved, he approached us for prayer—requesting intercession not just for himself but for his entire household. He thanked us profusely. This is the power of the Gospel message!

But of course we didn’t ignore evangelistic outrage entirely. In the twelve previously unreached villages we visited, nearly all in attendance made decisions for Christ – 549 souls in all.

An Urgent Vision: Launching the Ministry Training Center
. These experiences underscored what we’ve known for some time: Pakistan needs a Ministry Training Center. We’ve talked about it for years, but now it’s time to act.
This month, we stepped out in faith, identified a suitable facility in Lahore, and committed to purchasing it. Our goal is to launch the first class in 2026, beginning, possibly, with a two-month intensive program. This center will serve as a hub to equip pastors, evangelists, and new believers across the country, particularly in the hard-to-reach areas where resources are scarce.
We believe this center will be one of the most significant long-term investments in the future of the Pakistani church. As the harvest increases, so must the number of trained laborers who can care for it.

Tireless Workers in the Harvest Field
: None of this would be possible without the extraordinary faith, resilience, and servant-heartedness of Pastor Enoch and his national missionary team. These men and women labor across a 1,200km stretch of Pakistan. They endure long journeys, scorching heat (45°C / 113°F in Layyah!), persecution, and spiritual warfare with a determination that mirrors the early church.

The Macedonian Call—In Pakistan
Word is spreading. After meetings in two villages near the Indian border, six more villages reached out, begging us to come and preach. We had only one free day left—but we used it. This is what ministry looks like when you’re operating in the overflow of God’s favor and timing. Just as Paul saw the vision of the Macedonian man in Acts 16, calling him to “come over and help us,” we too are receiving such invitations from the least-reached areas of this nation.

Final Reflections: We Are Making History
! Almost every place I have visited and preached the Gospel is a place no missionary, no ministry has ever set foot and where the Gospel has never been heard. We have taken the Gospel to places no foreigner has ever gone (we have to get permission to visit virtually every place I go, being a foreigner. We are rarely denied permission). We are training leaders to carry the Gospel according to the Great Commission which has never been done in Pakistan.

As I boarded the vehicle for our last evangelistic meeting on May 28, I knew I was closing out one of the most fruitful seasons of ministry I’ve ever seen. The blessings have been abundant—not only in numbers, but in depth, transformation, and promise.
How do I know God blessed this trip? Because I cannot imagine how it could have been more fruitful.
And we’re not done.
Plans are in motion. Villages are waiting. The Training Center is coming. And the Spirit is still moving. Every meeting, every healing, every soul saved is not just a report—it’s a testimony of the unstoppable power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pakistan belongs to Jesus!

Prayer Requests and Next Steps
As we look to the future, here’s how you can pray and get involved:

  • Pray for the continued discipleship of the 400 new believers from this month alone.
    • Pray for the success of the Ministry Training Center in Lahore and the resources needed to launch it.
      • Pray for Pastor Enoch and his missionary team—strength, protection, and provision.
        • Pray for boldness as more villages request Gospel outreach.
